Attukkad Waterfalls: Attukkad waterfall is a popular tourist destination located between Munnar and Pallivasal. The sight of panoramic waterfall and rolling hills attracts a large number of visitors to this place every year.
Blossom Park: Located at distance of 1km from Munnar. It is also called as Hydel park and it is a very nature friendly park.
Pothamedu view point: A small village inhabited 1 km away from headworks dam. Coffee and Cardamom plantation are sights to behold.
Kundala Lake: The Lake is surrounded by lashing jungle and hills. Tourists can hire pedal boat and enjoy the beauty of lake travelling through it.
Mattupetty dam: Mattupetty is at 13k from Munnar and at a height of 1700m. Mattupetty dam and lake are very beautiful picnic spots.
Echo Point: It is at 15k from Munnar on the way to top station. Every loud call made from a spot on the lake embankment is returned manifold by the echo from the surrounding hills.
Top Station: Top Station is the highest point on Munnar-Kodaikan
al road. The rare Neelaurinji(Strobilanthus) is found here. This
place gives you a panoramic view of Tamil Nadu.
Marayoor: it is 40km from Munnar.This is the only place in Kerala that has natural growth of sandalwood trees.
Eravikulam National Park: It is at a distance of 1
5km from Munnar
and the park spreads over a region of 97 s.km and
is home to Nilgiri Tahr. The visiting time is from 7 A,M to 6 P.M.
Anamudi Peak: The highest peak of Kerala with a height of 2695m is located at the southern region of Eravikulam National Park. Trekking facilities are available here.
